I’ve been wanting to share this shoot for a while now. I came up with the idea randomly…in a frustration actually, because I feel like so many styled shoots look exactly the same! So, I wanted to pull some inspiration from a different source- Russia! I seriously loved putting this Russian Wedding Inspiration shoot together. Each shoot that I do, I try to challenge myself & outdo what I’ve done before. And believe me, this shoot was a bit of a challenge! I’m no expert on Russian-culture, so I did a bit of research. (Believe me, it was tough!) This shoot is kind of a mixture of Dr. Zhivago & Anastasia.
This shoot, just like the Royal Fairytale Wedding shoot I published (this is part 2!) took place in an old abandoned mansion in Beaver, Pa. While doing this shoot, I really wanted to convey the whole Russian theme, but to also show what it might have been like to live in this amazing mansion when it was new.
I had an absolutely AMAZING team for this shoot (like I said in Part 1 of this photoshoot, it seriously felt more like a production than a photoshoot!)
Oh, and this shoot was just featured on Strictly Weddings!!!
