The couple’s emotions

It’s not enough to have professional equipment, you need to know how to use it! Before you go to a wedding, you have to learn how to change your camera settings “blindly” depending on the scene: you shoot a portrait of the bride at the gathering with a beam of light on her face – manual and spot focus, you shoot an active reportage – aperture priority and auto focus, the first dance of the young couple – manual and trailing autofocus. It’s like learning to drive a car with a manual transmission: first you look at it and think what gear to put it in, and then you do everything on automatic. Until you get the camera set up to automatic, you won’t be able to pay much attention to the pairing: your head will be busy only adjusting settings, while the couple’s emotions will fade in and out.
