Despite a severe decrease in wedding numbers due to Covid-19, 2022 is forecast to bring us a lot more wedding ceremonies and wedding photo sessions. 1.Sailboat on the Hudson River

Well, let’s start our hunting for the best engagement photos with a sailboat. What can be more romantic than going on a boat ride together with your soul mate? The photos of the sunset will be tremendous, we promise. However, keep in mind that taking pictures on a boat is a lot harder than on the ground. You need to have the balance.

2. Battery Park

Battery Park is a nice place in New York, just close to the financial center. Here, you can have a nice relaxing walk, and enjoy the views of Manhattan. The park is very popular with tourists and has a very cute lawn which is often used for handling all kinds of events. For some reason, Battery Park has become very popular for engagement photo sessions. If you decide to choose this location, take photos with the greenery of the park and the waterfront of the Statue of Liberty.

Show the depth of your love at the top of the highest skyscraper in the world. The Edge at Hudson Yards is both a tremendous experience and a perfect place to take wedding pictures. This 78-story in the center of Manhattan gives the best view of the city and attracts tourists from all over the globe just for this fact. Even the Empire State building looks small from here. Watching these views is definitely a must and recommended for your photos. Don’t worry about the heights. To show the spirit of New York, it really makes sense to go to Washington Square Park. Do you know that this park was before called Columbia Square after the statue? The statue was created by a talented French sculptor in 1794. Today Washington Square adds the so much-needed greenery to the industrial atmosphere of New York. You will always find artists there, and, of course, you can take perfect photos there as well. 

5. Highline in Chelsea

The Highline in Chelsea is a very cute place for taking engagement photos. The scenery is great and there are many spots to choose from. Before becoming a park, this area used to be a railroad on top of the street. So now you can find indeed nice photos here. 

6. Times Square

The hottest and most crowded place every day of the week. Full of bright lights, this is a popular tourist destination and entertainment center. It can also become a place for your wedding photo session.

7. The Rock at Central Park

From the industrial views back to the greenery and romance. We are in Central Park, near Ladies Pavillion. Climb the hill. Yes, it’s a bit of effort but the photos will be so great that you will be proud of yourself. 

8. Cherry Hill at Central Park

As long as you are in Central Park anyway, try one more spot to shoot your engagement photos. Frankly speaking, Cherry Hill is popular among wedding photographers not for nothing. Picturesque scenery, incredible views of the lake, willow trees, and romantic boats can make up a nice atmosphere for your photos. 

9. Tudor City

Get the best views of the 42nd street in a quiet and cute Tudor City. The photos are usually awesome here.

10. Tribeca

If you like taking photos with picturesque cobblestone streets, you should definitely pay attention to Tribeca. This is an intimate, quiet place for wedding photos of those who understand romance. 

11. Fort Tryon Park

Another picturesque place for a wedding photo session is Fort Tryon Park. Head to the end of Manhattan to find this treasure. Though there are literally numerous spots for taking photos, this part of the city is a lot quieter than Central Park.
